Your PAC will be presenting a local children’s theatre production of “Hansel and Gretel” which will be performed on June 21st at 2:00 pm with the help of grants from Heart of Wisconsin United Way and The Oberreich Foundation. Auditions for the play were held May 28th at Parkside Middle School. 47 students in grades 3 through 8 auditioned for roles in this classic tale which will be directed by Peter Welch. The cast of 30 includes characters such as the troll, a talking owl, a forest sprite, hobgoblins, the sandman, gingerbread cookies, the witch, family members, and of course Hansel and Gretel.
Plan ahead for a family outing to enjoy this classic children’s tale and recognize local performers. Tickets will available beginning June 16th at the McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center located at 514 S. Cambridge St., Wautoma. The box office will be open Monday through Friday, 10:00 am until 2:00 pm, and from 12:00 until show time the day of the show. Tickets may be ordered by phone at (920) 787-2189, or toll-free at (888) 987-2189, Visa and MasterCard are accepted. Group and student discounts are available.
Finally, our 2008-09 season is in place and confirmation of sponsors is being finalized. Past patrons should be receiving color brochures early in July with information on all of the exciting live entertainment which will be offered and special season ticket rates. Area service groups, clubs, church organizations, or businesses that would like to hear a presentation about the great shows and ticket packages being offered in our new season should contact me at 787–7193 – it’s free, just like our parking!
