While delivering promotional materials around town for our next show I encountered several people who were amazed that we are bringing The Nylons to town. It is all part of our goal to bring you the best in nationally known live entertainment. If you are one of the few who has never heard of this group – believe me – you will be wowed (today we sold tickets to a caller from Georgia who is flying up for the show!). It all begins with the voice. And The Nylons have never needed a band - they just need their voices, their joy, and their ability to entertain audiences. Known for their great a cappella sound, dazzling harmonies and smooth arrangements, The Nylons perform worldwide to passionate audiences and critical acclaim, and now they bring their style, energy and showmanship to Wautoma’s McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center on Saturday, March 28th at 7:00 PM. Their performance is being sponsored by Renew Fuel stations.

With seven gold and six platinum recordings, this four-member vocal group is a true international success story. Over the last 25 years they have become a global institution and a legend in the world of a cappella music. The Nylons immense appeal has taken them across North America, Europe, Australia, China and Japan. A Silvercryst and Moose Inn dinner packages are also available before the show.

Upcoming Wautoma area school events include the Wautoma High School Choir Masterworks Concert on March 24th; and the Parkside Choirs Concert March 26th.

If you are looking for a terrific idea for a Mother’s day gift, on Saturday, May 9th you can enjoy the jazzy, bluesy, swingin’ sounds of Randy Sabien and his new 8 piece Fiddlehead Band. Stop in for tickets to go with your Mother’s Day card, or a gift certificate for any of our shows next season!

Area children can also mark their calendars for July 13 through 18, when Prairie Fire Children’s Theatre will be coming to town to produce Alice In Wonderland with local youth ages 7 and up. Information and registration materials will be available during the Blue Ribbon Kids Day, April 4th, at Parkside School.

Get your tickets early for The Nylons and Randy Sabien at your McComb/Bruchs Performing Arts Center located at 514 S. Cambridge St., Wautoma. The box office is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 am until 2:00 pm and from 3:00 pm until show time the day of the show. Tickets may be ordered by phone at (920) 787-2189, or toll-free at (888) 987-2189, Visa, MasterCard and Discover are accepted. Group and student discounts are available.
